In Midtown, residents often tell us they are confused, don't fully understand, or are not aware of all of the options available to them and their families. Recent research has shown that Midtown has lost over 1,500 families with school age children in each of the past two decades. However, over the past decade, educational options available to Midtown families have evolved. With over 100 different solutions serving Midtown families today there is a right solution for every family.

As part of a collaborative initiative between the seventeen neighborhoods of Midtown and in partnership with the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, and Midtown Indianapolis, Inc. we bring you the Midtown Education Summit 2013.

The Summit aims to ensure families are aware of their options and are connected directly with the resources and institutions that can help them make the right choice for their family.  We invite families and members of the community to meet representatives of the many schools that serve the families and children of Midtown neighborhoods.

Gather information regarding many of the school choice options, the programs offered, admissions requirements, open house dates, application deadlines and more. Meet and collaborate with your neighbors. Hear from a panel that will address some of the challenges and opportunities ahead in education.  Families have much to learn from each other and we hope that you will join us to learn and share as we begin a community wide dialogue and celebrate the many great schools serving our community.

Come learn more on the 26th!
