Any resident of Forest Hills may join the Board. All are encouraged to serve. Nine members, elected at the Annual Meeting, serve three-year terms. The terms are staggered so that only three expire each year. Any member is eligible for re-election. The members, on election, immediately enter in the performance of their duties and continue in office until their successors are elected.
